#Intro The project aimed to demo the volumetric capture capabilities in production. So the company created this demo, in which I am glad I participated. The demo was showcased at the Cannes Lions.
#Level and VFX design for the Temple Ruins Developed a tool to help level designers work with Vocap data Cleanup, polish, and compositing of rendered sequences The Volumetric Capture Volumetric capture captures real things in volumes, creating huge datasets. To speed up production, I developed a tool to aid level designers by using a texture map to plot actors’ motion on a flat surface, instead of needing to import gigabytes of data.
#The Temple Level Design The war zone/temple level was intended to deliver a dense, low-vibration feel. I believe I captured the negative vibe in the visuals by strategically using kitbash models, lighting, and effects.
#The Rejected Lookdev Football Field I also worked briefly on some look development for the football field, which was unfortunately rejected. I still prefer it to the version that made the cut.
